Pricing - add/edit schedule

Important: Price plans and schedules already invoiced cannot be deleted.

To add a schedule to a price plan, go to the Maintenance menu, Billing and Invoicing, and select Pricing.

Select the price plan you wish to add the schedule to and click the Edit icon.  

Click on Add Fixed Schedule from either the Fixed Schedules or Add Usage Schedule form the Usage Schedules options.

Fixed Schedule (Daily/Monthly/Market)

Enter the schedule details then Save.

• Schedule description - Description that will appear on invoice
• Schedule type - Is the schedule for network, market or other types
• GL account (if applicable) - General Ledger code this revenue or cost will be allocated to
• Invoice Grouping - This is used to group transactions on the summary page on your customer's invoice. This is an optional field and should only be used for advanced invoicing. The field is free-form text and requires the user to enter the same grouping name (case-sensitive) for all schedules the user wants to group on the same summary line on the invoice summary page.
• Invoice description - overrides the Schedule Description or Line Item Description that appear on invoice
• Start date
• End date - leave blank initially
• Minimum charge
• Unit rate (excluding tax)

Usage Schedule 

Enter the schedule details then Save

• Schedule description - Description that will appear on invoice
• Schedule type - Is the schedule for usage or network cost or demand types
• GL account - General Ledger code this revenue or cost will be allocated to
• Invoice Grouping - This is used to group transactions on the summary page on your customer's invoice. This is an optional field and should only be used for advanced invoicing. The field is free-form text and requires the user to enter the same grouping name (case-sensitive) for all schedules the user wants to group on the same summary line on the invoice summary page.
• Multi-rate (check if applicable)
• Price class - Select from the list of peak, shoulder, solar, anytime usage or demand price classes
• Meter type - Select the meter type this schedule and rates will apply to.  List is filtered by price class.
• Timing Profile - Read only field showing if the schedule meter type is linked to a timing profile.
• Invoice description - overrides the Schedule Description or Line Item Description that appear on invoice
• Start date
• End date - leave blank initially
• Minimum charge - is the minimum daily charge
• Unit Rate 1 (excluding tax)
• Stepped rates (if applicable, by selecting + button)

Tip: A green highlight schedule depicts the schedule that has been modified, and a blue highlight schedule depicts the schedule in the future.

 

Demand Schedule

Please raise a support ticket for demand charges to be added.

ISP and Telco Schedules

Enter the ISP Telco information and click Save.

• Item Category - list of line item categories for the selected product type (ISP or Telco)
• Line Item Code - unique code for the line item
• Line Item Description - this is the description that will appear on the invoice
