Managing your activities
The Activities Summary widget is located in the widget section of the Dashboard and serves as your personal “to-do list,” displaying all activities assigned to you or your department. It allows you to track and manage your assigned or created work items, ensuring nothing is missed and everything progresses smoothly.
Click on the Details button to view all activities.
Filter
You can filter open activities by Category, Type, Priority and Assignees by clicking the title of each column.
The full use of calls and activities is configurable and can be tailored to your company's own structure and business rules.
Tip: The rules governing how calls and activities are created, assigned, managed, closed, and monitored are all set in Calls and Activities in the Maintenance menu. Refer Adding calls and activities or Editing calls and activities.
There are five classes of notes and activities:
- Wizard records wizards completed by Utilmate users.
- Activity is a "to-do" list of tasks associated with an account.
- Note is a record of an event eg a reminder notice sent via SMS, letter or email sent or received or a customer calling to enquire about their bill or request a service.
- Correspondence records correspondence sent to or from your customer eg a welcome letter, SMS reminder notice.
- System records background processes eg when an account is switched in or out, or when we receive a notification from the market of some change to a site's metering or network status.
Note: Activities are the only class that is created "open" and await action before they can be "closed", can be assigned to a user or department,
