Important: To take advantage of the Buildium Open API you must have a Premium Subscription.
To connect Zendesk Support to Utilmate, go to the Add On's screen in the Maintenance menu, System Configuration. Click on the Buildium button.
Click on the Connect button.
Create your API Keys
For information on the Buildium API, refer to the step-by-step instructions to help you get started.
When setting up your API Key, you need to ensure the API key has access by marking the corresponding checkboxes as shown below.
Note: Make sure you record the secret API Key. Make sure it’s stored somewhere secure! If it’s forgotten, you’ll need to delete this key and start from scratch.
Customer and property information sync
Your Buildium data is automatically synced to Utilmate on a daily basis.
Manually sync your data
To ensure your records remain current, you can manually sync the information in Utilmate. The system will import the latest data from Buildium and update your tenants, owners, and properties automatically.
Go to Add On's screen in the Maintenance menu, System Configuration. Click on the Buildium button.
Click on the Sync button. Utilmate will import the latest data from Buildium and automatically update your tenants, owners, and properties, preparing them for utility invoicing.
