Import NZ Registry event detail files
Utilmate and the New Zealand Electricity Registry
Utilmate is not directly integrated with the New Zealand Electricity Registry. However, users can manage switching activities by downloading specific reports from the registry portal and importing them into Utilmate.
The reports that can be imported are:
An “EDA” or registry event detail report (RSEVENTDTL)
This report provides all ICP (Installation Control Point) switching activity, including both switch-ins and switch-outs. Upon import this interface will:
- Create new ICPs for switch-ins
Since customer information is not yet available during a switch-in, Utilmate will create a placeholder customer named “New Site”. - Update existing ICPs for:
- Switch-outs
- Status changes during the switching process
Example EDA File
All switches in progress (both in and out) will appear on the Switching Sites screen within the Dashboard, making it easy to monitor and manage active transitions.
A “LIS” or ICP list report (RSICPLIST)
This report provides detailed information about all of your ICPs, including:
- Network tariffs
- GXP (Grid Exit Point) details
- Other essential market-related data
When imported into Utilmate, this interface will automatically update the corresponding information within the system, ensuring your ICP records remain accurate and up to date.
Example LIS File
A “PR” or meter info report (RSICPLISTM).
This report contains detailed information about the metering configuration for each ICP.
When imported into Utilmate, this interface will:
- Create new meters for ICPs that don’t yet have meters recorded
- Update existing meters with the latest configuration details
This ensures that all meter data in Utilmate is accurate and aligned with the latest information from the market.
