Work order - move-in or move-out
Work orders can be configured to be automatically created for special reads, reconnection and disconnection when a customer moves in or out of a property.
Please log a support ticket if you would like this enabled.
Disconnection work orders are not created for:
- life support customers
- sites that are already De-Energised
Reconnection work orders are created regardless of the site status.
Disconnection work orders are created for sites where the site status is not populated.
The state of the site is added to the site notes field.
When a customer moves into a site that has an active disconnection work order, the active disconnection work order will be cancelled.
Reconnection work orders will be scheduled on business days, based on the customer's preferred date.
Disconnection work orders will have the preferred date set to 5 business days after the move-out date.
Building configuration
Reconnection & disconnection work order creation for move-in & move-out can be disabled for specific buildings.
This is can be done in the Buildings-edit screen. Setting the 'Move-In/Out Work Orders Disable' building attribute to 'Y' will prevent creation of reconnection & disconnection work order for any sites allocated to that building.
Work order charges configuration
Charges can be automatically assigned to work orders based on the time they are generated and completed; specific time frames may need to be configured for each client.
Charge types available are:
- next day reconnections
- same day reconnections
- same day after-hours reconnections
Note: Please log a support ticket for work order charges.
External provider updates
When your external provider updates a work order status to Complete via the API, the corresponding site status will also be updated - for example, completing a disconnection work order will update the site status to De-Energised.
