Customer Offerings - add, edit or delete

Important: Editing of Offerings and Inducements currently assigned to customers will impact billing.

An offering is something that is added to a customer's account in addition to their price plan or tariffs.

To view your offerings, go to the Maintenance menu, Billing & Invoicing and select Customer Offerings.

Add an offer

Click on the Add button.

Enter the below information into the "Add new offering wizard" screen then Save.

• Offering code 
• Offering description
• Start date
• End date
• Bill cycle
• Contract term
• Inducement
• Default treatment type
• Terms and conditions - text entered here is used in the plan summary section of the invoice (applies to Australia).

Edit an offer

Click on the offering you wish to edit, then click the Edit button.

Delete an offer

Select the offer and click on the Delete button.  

Add an inducement

Click on the Add button.

Each inducement has:

• Description
• Code
• Active
• Inducement schedules (shown in table below inducements)

Edit an inducement

Click on the inducement you wish to edit, then click the Edit button.

View inducement Schedules

Select the inducement and all schedules belonging to it will be displayed

Add an inducement schedule

Click on the inducement you wish to add a new schedule to, then click the Add button.


Each inducement schedule has:

• Inducement type
• Filter criteria - additional filtering of which accounts this discount should apply to
  (If you are unsure of this please contact the Utilmate team by raising a support ticket)
• Charge type
• Inducement Value in dollars $ or Inducement percentage % (Only one these are set per schedule)
• Invoice description
• Frequency - Frequency at which inducement should apply (periodically or per invoice)
• Number of invoices (only used when Frequency is 'First [number] of invoices only')
• Start date
• End date
• Active

Edit an inducement schedule

Click on the desired inducement, then click on the schedule you wish to edit, then click the Edit button.
