Compliance - energy bill relief rebate report
The Energy Bill Relief Rebate report identifies customer eligibility, rebate amounts and when due. It can be run at any time from the Reports menu, Compliance and select Energy Bill Relief Rebate Report.
Important: The Australian Government has extended the Energy Bill Relief Fund by six months in the 2025–26 Budget. The extension is from 01/07/2025 to 31/12/2025. Refer to the Australian Government Energy Bill Relief Fund for more information.
Note: There is no change to the existing Energy Bill Relief Rebate Report. All states now have 2 Quarterly payments of $75, or a single payment of $150. The payment/s cover the 6 month extension total amount of $150. Ensure that the import adjustment import file amount is adjusted accordingly.
FILTERS
This report can be filtered by date range and State.
COLUMNS
The report shows all customers where the account is active after 01/07/YYYY, and the product type is POWER. Where the rebate payments are quarterly/bi-annual customers are excluded if they have moved out during the last paid rebate period.
Use the columns listed below to determine customer eligibility for the rebate:
- Customer state is the State set in the customer details
- Building and building state is the State set against the site identifier
- RES/BUS displays which rebate is applied (household/small business)
- Concession card details - Increases the amount of rebate in some states for some or all concession types
- Concession card status shows validation/non-validation card information
- Concession card end date is the end date of the card
- Life support displays vulnerable customers
- Regularity is the frequency of rebate, which is reflected in 'Next Payment Due'
- post_adj if 'N' is displayed when all adjustments are to be posted manually after importing
Important: QA/review to confirm the rebates are correct for households and small businesses before importing the file. Filtering should be applied where eligibility is determined by a valid concession card.
Once downloaded and after QA any rebates to be applied use the Adjustments Import Interface interface. Import file preparation using the report detailed in Adjustment Import file section below.

Adjustment Import file:
To import your list of customers who are entitled to the rebate, follow the steps below.
Note: Only columns C-H are used
- Open a new Excel spreadsheet and select columns C-H.
- Copy and paste these columns into a new Excel spreadsheet and save in the CSV (comma Delimited) format.
The file will look like - Upload the CSV file into CRM using the Adjustments Import Interface to apply to eligible customers.
