Change the billing contact
The billing contact is the person to which invoices and letters are addressed. Each customer can have multiple contacts. These may be husband and wife, flatmates, friends or families. However, one of these contacts must be nominated as the billing contact.
To change a contact for multiple customers, refer to change the billing contact linked to multiple customers.
Before you can change the billing contact, the person you want to make the billing contact must be a contact for the customer. See add a contact on how add a new contact.
To change the billing contact, go to the Customer Details menu, then Residential or Commercial. Select the desired billing contact from the drop-down list, and click on save.
Tip: This won't change the email address that invoices and letters are sent to. If this also needs changing, see Add an email address.
