WorkForce - Field Agent
WorkForce Field Agent provides field staff with mobile access to assigned Work Orders, allowing them to manage and update jobs directly from the field. The application enables field agents to view job details, record meter readings, capture site photos, add technician comments, and update job statuses in real time.
Using WorkForce helps improve communication between field and office teams by providing live job updates, operational visibility, and accurate field data capture. The platform supports day-to-day field activities, including meter reads, connections, disconnections, investigations, maintenance work, and site inspections.
Offline and Sync
The Sync function refreshes and updates data in the WorkForce system to ensure field agents view the latest available information. Selecting Sync retrieves recent changes, updates records, and synchronises information between the WorkForce application and connected Utilmate CRM.
This function helps ensure that job details, statuses, schedules, customer information, and other operational data remain current and accurate.
Tip: Always select the Sync button before viewing or updating records to ensure you are working with the latest system information and changes.
Menu
A menu displays the options or actions available to the field agent. It helps users access different sections, features, or functions within the application in an organised and user-friendly way.
Jobs
The Jobs menu item displays a list of jobs currently recorded in the system. Selecting this menu option opens the Jobs screen, where field agents can view, search, and filter jobs by required date or site name, based on their access permissions.
The Jobs screen enables users to manage and monitor assigned work activities efficiently within the system.
Locations
The Locations menu item displays a list of locations configured within the system. Selecting this menu option opens the Locations screen, where field agents can view and search location records based on their access permissions.
There are two views - card view and list view. Click on the Layout button to toggle views.
Field agents can update location Access Details by selecting the required location row, which opens the Edit Location screen. Enter or update the relevant access information for the location, then click Save to apply the changes.
My Profile
Field agents can reset their password using the password reset option.
