Transfer account balance
Transferring account balances between accounts is useful when a customer moves out of one property and into another, but they still owe a debt or have credit on their previous account.
To transfer account balances, go to the Accounts Receivable menu, then Transaction List and click on Transfer Balance from the Other Actions dropdown.
Enter the account number that the balance is to be transferred to, then enter the amount you want transferred.
Important: If you enter a positive amount, you will be decreasing the balance of the current customer and increasing the balance of the new account number. If you enter a negative amount, you will be increasing the balance of the current customer and decreasing the balance of the new account number
