Smoothpay - cancel
Cancelling Smoothpay is used when a customer no longer wants to continue with their instalment-based payment arrangement.
Smoothpay spreads a customer’s energy costs into regular payments over time. When the arrangement is cancelled, the account returns to standard billing, and any outstanding balance becomes payable in line with normal invoice terms.
Cancelling Smoothpay in Utilmate ensures the account reflects the correct billing setup and allows any remaining balance to be managed through standard payment or credit control processes.
Click on the Customer Details menu, then Smoothpay. Select the Smoothpay plan to be cancelled.
Select Closed as the Smoothpay Detail Status and click the Save button.
Any Smoothpay Details Payments will show as CANCEL
Once done, click on the Customer Details menu, then Finance.
Change the Payment Method back to STANDARD and remove all bank account or credit card information.
