Work order - add or edit
A work order is a task or job for a customer that can be scheduled and assigned to user. Usually, work orders are the result of a customer request, but it can be a follow-up action as well.
There are 3 types of work order configurations:
- Manual: Work orders are not automatically created based on move-ins and move-outs, for users who only want to manually add work orders.
- Special read: Automatically create special read work orders only for move-ins and move-outs.
- Reconnection or Disconnection: Automatically create reconnection and disconnection work orders based on move-ins and move-outs.
Add a work order (manual)
Go to the Services menu, Work Orders tab, then click on the + button.
Enter the details of the work order and click next.
Important: Disconnection work orders can not to be added for:
- customers on life support
- a site that is already De-Energised
- if there is an existing active work order (Order is ready to be sent out or Order has been sent out)
Reconnection work orders for an Active site can be added.
Select your one-off charge (optional), then click Finish.
Note: The charge details will appear in the Charge, Receipt and Adjustment Approval menu on your Dashboard.
The work order status will appear in the dashboard under Open Work Orders.
When the work order is completed, highlight the work order and click Complete.
Edit a work order
Go to the Services menu, then Work Orders tab. Select the row that you would like to edit and click on the Edit button.
Update the details of the work order and click the save button.
